Una atracción en Punta de Choros es la Reserva Nacional Pingüino de Humboldt creada el 03 de enero de 1990, la forman tres islas; Isla Choros, Isla Damas e Isla Chañaral, ubicadas en el límite entre las regiones de Coquimbo y Atacama.

Existen en ellas 59 especies de plantas vasculares, también se encuentran 68 especies de vertebrados terrestre, entre los mamíferos está el Chungungo, Lobo de un pelo, Lobo de dos pelos. Las aves son las más abundantes y entre ellas se encuentra el Pingüino de Humboldt, el Pato Yunco, Pato Lile, Guanay, todas especies protegidas y en categoría de conservación. Los mamíferos marinos están representados por los Delfines Nariz de Botella y la presencia esporádica de ballenas y cachalotes.

Casa Ananda cuenta con un profesor que realiza clases de Surf y Bodyboard, que cuenta con todas las certificaciones
necesarias. (Certificación De aguas abiertas otorgada por la Armada de Chile, certificación de rescatista en Seal Chile. ILS. ISLA. Full member CLAS. Y protocolo RCP inmovilización y traslado certificado por el servicio de salud).

Casa Ananda está ubicada a 300 mt. Aprox. De Playa Barrancas la principal playa en Punta de Choros, hermosas arenas blancas y aguas turquesa.

Tour Isla Damas

Willy Barrera, está dedicado a realizar excursiones dentro de la Reserva Nacional Pingüino de Humboldt. Cuenta con embarcaciones diseñadas exclusivamente para realizar este tipo de paseos náuticos, garantizando su comodidad.

La otra forma de realizar el Tour es acudiendo directamente a las Caletas San Agustín y Corrales, donde se puede embarcar
por orden de llegada sin realizar reserva.
